What is Career Voyage?
Career Voyage is career guidance software designed to be used as an aid or tool to assist good career decision making. It enables exploration of personal and job factors relevant to career decision-making, helps clarify suitable career opportunities, establishes guidelines for exploration of relevant occupational information, and facilitates realistic career planning. Who should use Career Voyage?
Anyone needing career guidance. It is especially suitable for those facing career change and the need to make decisions, including people involved with job change, completion of education or training programs, returning to the workforce, redundancies, etc. It is not particularly recommended for children under the age of fifteen years.

How can I access the program?
You need to work through an accredited Career Adviser who will create a Career Voyage account for you and assist you through the program. If you don’t know any such Career Adviser you can contact us and we will attempt to put you in touch with an accredited Adviser.

How will Career Voyage help me?
This user friendly software will help you:

How secure is Career Voyage?
The Career Voyage website uses a 128-bit encryption when processing your registration, payment, log in, and use of the software. Anywhere you enter private information you are accessing a secure section of Career Voyage.

How long can I access the software for?
You need to organise that with your Career Adviser.

Are there any age restrictions?
No, but the software is more suitable for people fifteen years and over.

Which country is the software designed for?
Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. However in the increasingly global economy, labour markets and associated career guidance are becoming increasingly similar. Much of our software is generic and may be suitable for people seeking career guidance in other countries.

How much does it cost?
You need to organise payment with your Career Adviser

Can I find a job using Career Voyage?
No, this is career guidance software which people usually access prior to applying for jobs.

Will Career Voyage find me a course at TAFE or university?
No, you need to check with individual institutions. Usually you would do this after you have clarified your career goals, eg once you have completed Career Voyage.

What is Career Voyage?
Career Voyage is a carefully crafted software package designed to help you and your clients achieve good career outcomes. Over eighteen million dollars and many years of research and development ensure that this software brings the very best of career solutions to you and your clients.

Who can use Career Voyage?
Accredited Career Advisers. This unique software is designed to help Career Advisers be more efficient and effective with their clients. Clients gain access to the software through allocation of unique individual accounts which are created by accredited Career Advisers. To become accredited you need to complete a one day training workshop, either face to face, or flexibly online. For further information click here.

What is a Career Voyage account?
An account is a secure, individual working area, similar to an online bank account. In Career Voyage there are different levels of accounts and associated functions. Client/student accounts enable career seekers to systematically work through the program with their Advisers. Advisers have accounts to enable them to configure the software, create client accounts, monitor progress and assist with reports. Organisational Administrators have accounts to set up Adviser accounts, make payments, etc.

Do I lose control of my clients?
No. In both CD-distributed and online versions, clients can only gain access to the system through their Advisers. You set up your client accounts, and you monitor both their progress and outcomes. JIIG-CAL Australia’s responsibility is to provide quality software to you, the Adviser.

How can I start using the program?
Complete the accreditation training requirement and purchase the program. For purchasing options click here.

Accreditation & Refresher Workshops
In order to use Career Voyage Software with clients and/or students, it is necessary to register for and complete an accreditation workshop. Accreditation attracts an additional fee. Workshops are offered

Career Voyage Refresher Course
JIIG-CAL Australia offers online refresher courses over one week for people who are accredited but haven't used the system for some time and need to refresh and update. For further details and to register, click here to go to our dedicated workshops website and register now.

Can organisations make bulk purchases?

How long does it take to set up accounts?
Once you have completed an accreditation workshop and payment is received, your starting account will be created within one working day.

What are the software options?
Career Voyage can be purchased for standalone PCs, LANs, WANs, or over the Internet.
