Career Voyage CD & Web Access Edition Licences
The following licences are available for the CD Edition to be installed on a network or computers within your organisation or the Web Access Edition used over the internet (no installation required).

Licence: Pay As You Go (Available only on Web Access)
Suitable for: Small business practitioners wishing to purchase a single use of Career Voyage as and when required.
Additional Information: This licence can be ordered online and paid for by credit card. Please allow 3 working days for your licence to be activated.
Initial Licence: $14.50 per client*.
Subsequent Annual Licence: Not Applicable

Licence: Light Licence
Suitable for: Schools or organisations who intend to use Career Voyage with up to 40 clients* each year.
Additional Information: The date of your first invoice or credit card payment becomes your annual licence subscription date for the following years.

Why choose the Career Voyage Web Access?
If you are in Australia* or New Zealand* then you have the choice of using either the Web Access or the CD edition. The client processes, Adviser functions and outcomes are the same for both editions. The benefits of the Web Access are that it can be accessed anywhere at any time and clients can be given logon details to take away with them. Web Access is useful for Advisers dealing with remote clients or those travelling to various locations. To assist you in making a clear decision, you may wish to refer your IT administrator to the Recommended Specifications & Requirements on this website. You can also contact JIIG-CAL to discuss your needs and we will recommend the best edition, version and licence for your organisation. * If Career Voyage will be used at a location outside Australia or New Zealand, you will need to use the Web Access as CD's are not distributed outside these countries.

Career Voyage Web Access Licenced Customer Entitlements
JIIG-CAL provides unlimited free technical and professional support for matters relating to the Career Voyage program and its application across the internet. All customers also receive our newsletter three times per year.

Career Voyage Web Annual Subscription
The Web Access annual subscription works the same as the CD edition subscription. Your Licence is renewed every 12 months on receipt of your Annual Licence payment.

Career Voyage Web Updating
The Career Voyage program is updated at least annually. The JobFile (database of jobs) is revised annually and other features and functions of the program are updated throughout the year. JIIG-CAL incorporates most customer recommendations into the program each year. Updates are applied to the Web Access as they are developed.

JIIG-CAL Accreditation Requirement
Before using Career Voyage with clients, every Adviser administering Career Voyage needs to become JIIG-CAL Accredited by completing a workshop. Our training assumes basic career guidance training and experience, and builds on these to show you how to use Career Voyage, how to read the results and pick up on problems your client may have through correct interpretation of the results displayed by Career Voyage, along with the background and years of research that backs all JIIG-CAL products. There is an additional fee for the workshop. Workshops are conducted throughout all countries in which Career Voyage is available. The workshop can be taken as a one day, face-to-face course; or completed online flexibly across two weeks. All necessary materials, software and training file are provided by JIIG-CAL. The cost is $180.00 per person.

Can I change licences if I change my mind?
You can change your licence at any time. If you upgrade* your licence, you can contact us for a pro-rata quote to have a portion of the amount you have already paid for your current subscription period* credited* to another Licence. JIIG-CAL does not refund amounts already paid if you choose to downgrade* or discontinue* your licence during your current subscription period.
*When used in this document the term 'upgrade' means a change to a higher priced licence, 'downgrade' means a change to a lower priced licence, 'discontinue' means to cease use of the program. Your credit is determined by the number of days left in the subscription period you have already paid for. Upgrade credits change daily, please keep this in mind if you need to raise a purchase order. Credit amounts can be easily quoted within minutes by phoning or emailing JIIG-CAL. A 'subscription period' means 12 months.

What happens when I place an order online?
When JIIG-CAL receives an online order we will first confirm that the Career Advisers at the organisation are accredited or contact you to organise your accreditation training. We will then send you an invoice. Once payment is received by either cheque or credit card we will activate* your Licence and email you your logon details, User Guide and Licence Agreement. If you requested to receive hard copies of all documentation when you ordered, you can expect these to arrive within a week of receiving the email. You can check the progress of your order at any time by emailing sales@careervoyage.com.au. *Allow up to 3 working days for your licence to be activated.

Important Information for Current Subscribers to Career Voyage

Can current CD Edition subscribers change to the Web Access?
Yes you can. There are special licences for current customers. You are eligible to transfer to a Transition Licence if you subscribed to the CD edition before 1 July 2006. Please contact us and request a Web Access Transition Licence Pricelist {hyperlink to pdf}. Transition Licences are available until 1 July 2007.

Is there a cost for changing to Web Access?
You will incur no additional costs when you transfer from your current licence to the equivalent* Web Transition Licence. If changing to any other Licence see 'What happens to my current Annual Subscription' below. *Equivalent licence means the licence stated next to the Transition Licence as shown on the Transition Licence Pricelist.

What happens to my current Annual Subscription?
Your annual licence subscription date will remain the same. If you are upgrading your licence you can contact us for a pro-rata quote to have a portion* of the amount you have already paid for your current subscription period* credited to any Web Access Licence or Transition Licence. JIIG-CAL does not refund amounts already paid if you choose to downgrade your licence during your current subscription period. *Your credit is determined by the number of days left in the subscription period you have already paid for. How do I obtain a Web Access Transition Licence?
Please do not use the online order form available on the Career Voyage website as this is for new customers. Simply call or email JIIG-CAL and express your intention to transfer.

What will change if I subscribe to a Web Transition Licence?
Your annual invoice date will remain the same. Career Advisers still need to become Accredited before using Career Voyage with clients. Your client records remain secure and can not be accessed by anyone, including JIIG-CAL staff. Only the Advisers within your organisation that you give logon details to can see your client records or change your settings. Your clients and Advisers will not notice any difference when using the program, provided your computers and internet connection meet our Reccommended Specifications. Your Licence Agreement will change. JIIG-CAL will send you a Web Access Licence Agreement when you transfer to the Web Access.

Can I have one of the normal Web Access Licences available to non-customers?
If you would prefer, you may transfer to a normal Web Access Licence at the Annual Licence price. See 'What happens to my current Annual Subscription'.

What happens when I transfer?
When you advise us that you are transferring to Web Access your Licence will be activated within 3 working days and your logon details, User Guide and Licence Agreement will be sent to you. You will then be required to uninstall Career Voyage from your computer (s) and/or server and return all software CDs and documentation to JIIG-CAL.
