Careers Research Centre of Edinburgh University (UK). Over the past 15 years JIIG-CAL Australia has
annually revised and updated this career guidance tool. Understanding the basics of the research and
the features of the software will help you to administer Career Voyage to your clients more effectively.
Career Voyage uses powerful computer algorithms with high reliability and validity. These generate individual
profile information and suitable job suggestions for every client. The system also detects client difficulties
and problems which need your attention. Learning to interpret results is an important part of using Career Voyage
to its full capacity.
Knowing how to move around Career Voyage and use its many features will enable you to
facilitate clients through this feature packed program. In order to ensure that all clients (including those
experiencing difficulties) have a positive experience, JIIG-CAL Australia requires all Advisers to complete
a workshop and receive their JIIG-CAL Accreditation certificate.
